I have Alopecia Areta. I still shave my head, but I let it grow rogaine or not to intervene when I shave. I use the foam.

The foam is easy to implement with the shaved head. I do not think that shaving will take care of one way or another.
The effectiveness of Rogaine is another matter, and I'm not there. However, I must say that you really need to see the results before continuing use. They are not cheap, and I think the only thing that someone is different bank account, not the hair.
Alopecia areata is caused by other things and you really need to after the first glance. Hair loss is a symptom of something else happens in your body. Money abroad is not the answer.
